I hope it is ok to hate a disease that is afflicting such pain on my family and friends. My dear friend Dan is awaiting another transplant,  my baby sister had a kidney transplant in October of '07, my dad in December of '07, my aunt Jenny in December of '09, my dad almost had another one in January of '10, but his brother was able to get it instead.  It is exhausting to see this disease zap the life from such healthy, hard working people.  Today my uncle Ken is back in the hospital as they are treating some signs of rejection.  My sister went through it too. It is a rough 5 to 14 days in the hospital getting daily 4 hour IV treatments.  They saved her kidney and she is doing well so, I know the same is ahead for my Uncle Ken.  I pray his new kidney gets a quick jump start and he is back to living life without dialysis.  I continue to pray that we will find a new kidney for my dad and Dan.
